The project began by paying tribute to a contemporary studio and then extended to explore the themes of originality and knock-offs. This poster is designed to be viewed from both sides, inviting the audience to experience the concepts of “originality” and “knock-off.” When considering knock-offs, I wanted to obscure the original designs behind them. Barbara Kruger’s works, which symbolize well-known knock-offs that ironically empower the slogan, inspired me. Flipping the poster reveals the original patterns, making Kruger's design elements secondary and allowing viewers to explore the underlying patterns, typography, and composition.
